What will your donation be used for initially and what is our long term goal goal?

Initially, funds will be used to outfit the legacy, artisanal craft furniture facility that will employ aboriginal street artists – and other creative individuals whose work is applicable to this type of furniture – in order to generate an ongoing revenue stream with which Children of Trauma Society may provide cutting edge therapeutic treatment for those who are judged likely to benefit from talk therapy and  / or psychedelic assisted therapy.

Below is a *link to a page listing equipment etc needed to outfit the artisanal craft furniture facility that also includes the cost of purchasing an industrial space. Any donations received in order to meet our immediate goal of blank (for equipment, setup and industrial shop space purchase etc) will be held in the Children of Trauma checking accountant at Royal Bank Canada. Any funds raised over and above that total along with all after tax profit from the artisanal furniture facility will be held in trust / invested with Odlum Brown Ltd – one of Canada’s “top drawer” wealth managers – in an account under the Society’s name. These invested funds will be available for PTSD treatment as requests arise.

*If you want to see the actual equipment and other start-up costs itemized and haven’t already, please got to here

Our tax statement will be prepared by the accounting firm Dosanj and Wirk (located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada) and will be posted here on this site once we have a statement to post.

Total donations will be updated automatically as they are processed and can be viewed on this page (below). Total disbursements for treatment will also be posted once a month on a separate page (once treatments start).

Tax receipts will be automatically generated for all donations.

I currently have paid for all costs incurred founding the society and for website creation out of pocket.

Thank you for your time and interest. And if you have made a donation we are grateful for your kind heartedness that will in time enable others to get the treatment they need in order to move on with their life and contribute to society in their own way.
