Hello Robert,

What beautifully crafted pieces you make.  They really are stunning. We would be interested in trying a few pieces however we are pretty sure we would not be able to get anything like the value you would need for the materials and labour used and to make a profit.  Because we are a consignment store, people expect huge deals and to pay a fraction of retail for items so even when we have new items in the store, they need to be a price our clients are willing to pay and will want to negotiate.  I strongly believe your work should demand a very fair and good price but I’m not sure the market in Vancouver will bear it at this juncture when people seem satisfied with buying their furniture from The Brick, Wayfair and Homesense.  It makes our blood boil that people are not willing to pay more for one of a kind pieces. You are more than welcome to send us the prices of your pieces that you would expect to fetch so we can review them.

Have you considered marketing your items to some of the top-end interior designers in town and were you at the ID’s West show back in late September?

Cheers,

Tina
